Swadeshi Sastra Puraskaram
The Swadeshi Sastra Puraskaram is a prestigious award instituted by the Swadeshi Science Movement–Kerala in 1991. The award recognises eminent scientists and technologists of Kerala origin for their outstanding lifetime contributions to science and technology. It honours individuals whose dedication, research, innovation and professional achievements have made significant contributions to their respective fields and inspired future generations of scientists.
Over the years, the Swadeshi Sastra Puraskaram has become an important recognition within Kerala's scientific community, celebrating the achievements of distinguished personalities who have advanced scientific knowledge and contributed to the progress of society. This Puraskaram was instituted in the year 1991 and so far 46 scientists were honored by SSMK.
